 Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, therefore occasional appointment delay may occur.  If we have worked you into the schedule, previously scheduled appointments will be seen first.  

For your convenience, Day Admission (drop off) is available by appointment with an additional fee. Day Admission means you schedule to bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for the day.  Usually, we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments. At admission, we ask that you allow time for our staff to check your pet in and learn more about what problems your pet may be having currently.  After the exam, we will go over the findings either by phone or at the discharge of your pet.  

For the safety of our patients, we require that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers upon arrival to the clinic. 


Payment Policy

Blue Ridge Animal Clinic requires full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, American Express, John Deere Financial, cash, and personal checks.


Privacy Policy

Our website is privately maintained and managed in-house by staff at the Blue Ridge Animal Clinic.  We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of our clients, our patients and those individuals who simply visit our website.

We do not collect or give out any information to any third party vendors or internet businesses.  No information will ever be disclosed to outside parties by us or by website hosting company www.evetsites.com.

It's that simple! We strictly adhere to this policy.  Your privacy is not only protected when you visit our website but is also protected within our hospital and clinic.  At no time, under any circumstance is any personal client information provided without consent of the owner.


COVID 19 Hospital Policy

Our clinic reception area is open for clients.  At this time, we are asking clients to wear a face covering in the clinic.  Alternatively, if you prefer to take advantage of our curbside service parking spaces you are welcome to do that as well.  Should you choose curbside for your appointment, please call us at 540-463-7799 to let us know you have arrived.
